If you are into K-pop and Mandopop or perhaps enjoy listening to any latest songs from your favorite singers, you can consider taking Pop Piano lessons. Pop stands for Popular. So anything in trend or the latest is considered pop.

Even if you think the piece sounds complicated at first, there are usually more manageable versions that you can attempt. I typically discuss with my students how they would want to rearrange the piece to suit their liking and ability so that they can master it more effortlessly.

Some of my Pop Piano adult students enjoy playing rock or R&B songs, while others prefer theme songs from their favorite Korean Dramas instead. There are endless choices for everyone. Learning it right from the start and cultivating good playing habits is essential.
