Music Educator

I am a certified piano, electronic organ, and keyboard teacher.

My music education began with the electronic organ. After honing my skills on the organ and winning several competitions, I decided to concentrate seriously on the piano, ultimately focusing on piano pedagogy. I enjoy performing on both instruments as they are very expressive in their ways.

 

During my years of training, I have had the opportunity to learn from various teachers and mentors locally and internationally. I still constantly attend workshops, seminars, and even online programs for teachers to keep myself abreast of any new musical developments.

I am honored to have taught at music schools, government-owned kindergartens, and elite primary and secondary schools like St Joseph's Institution Junior and Raffles Girls' Secondary. Teaching music to multiple age groups gave me the experience of becoming a better and more versatile teacher. A number of my previous students are now music teachers themselves. The feeling is just amazing when you can teach, motivate and inspire all at the same time.
